Greenly is a B corp certified software company founded in 2019 by Alexis, Matthieu and Arnaud.

We are a team of 200+ climate-engaged individuals working together with the goal of enabling companies to commit to a carbon reduction trajectory and to engage their entire ecosystem (employees, clients, suppliers) around their climate strategy. 

Our platform streamlines data collection and analysis through integrations, making the calculation of carbon emissions accurate, intuitive, and affordable.

Greenly supports clients within all industries. Currently working with over 2,500 clients, our assistance goes beyond basic carbon assessments by also including services such as Green IT, lifecycle analysis (LCA), and compliance with SBTi and CSRD initiatives.

Job description

At Greenly, we’re not just about making a difference in the world; we’re about leading the change in carbon reduction. 

To help us do this, we’re looking for a Sustainability Project Manager who’s not only passionate about sustainability but also brings a wealth of project management experience, exceptional customer relationship skills, a commercial mindset, and a keen interest in carbon accounting. 

What you'd be doing as a Sustainability Project Manager

• Champion Climate Strategies:  Support our clients in defining their climate strategies, bringing relevant reduction efforts where they're needed. 
• Conduct Carbon Assessments: Lead the charge in carbon assessments by gathering data, analyzing it, leading meetings, and guiding clients through our platform. You’ll ensure they fully leverage our algorithm’s insights. 
• Navigate Complexity: With a nuanced approach, adapt to the varying complexities and structures of different companies to deliver high-value solutions to our most demanding clients.
• Craft Tailored Solutions: Propose customized action plans, develop climate roadmaps, and construct SBTi assessments to align with your clients’ sustainability goals. 
• Promote Key Features: Advocate for our unique offerings, including employee climate training and supplier engagement, to enhance our clients’ sustainability efforts.
• Manage Client Portfolios :Take the responsibility of leading a portfolio of clients (from various sectors). Your goal is to guide them through the platform and address their sustainability needs whilst fostering strong relationships with them. 
• Impact through Product and Process optimisation: Your close work with clients and technical insights will be pivotal in evolving our platform and methodologies. Your feedback is gold as we strive to automate and empower users through our platform and expand carbon accounting across sectors.
• Enhance Greenly’s Capabilities: Contribute to the enrichment of our databases and our overall climate and energy knowledge, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.
• Broaden Your Horizons: Last but not least, this all about expanding your knowledge, developing sector-specific expertise across digital, construction, retail, and services, and deepening your understanding of climate strategy, from regulations to employee training. 💭

Being a catalyst for change requires a skillset. This is what we look for :

• Education: You have a Master’s degree in engineering, technical studies, business, or a similarly relevant field.
• Professional Experience: You bring >5 years of rich experience to the table, with a significant portion in consulting or project management.
• Technical Proficiency: Your experience with Excel, Python, SQL, or other databases is highly appreciated. Your technical skills enhance our team’s capabilities.
• Agility in Practice: You thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment. You’re comfortable iterating and continuously improving (y)our work.
• Analytical Mindset: You approach challenges with an analytical and problem-solving mindset. Your capacity to think critically and offer solutions is crucial.
• Passion for Sustainability: You have a strong curiosity and motivation for climate and energy issues. Your desire to contribute to impactful work is at the heart of what we do.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in French 🇫🇷 and excellent English 🇬🇧. Other languages, such as German, would be a big plus.
